Fields of application
1.Construction.
Used as water retainer and retarder for cement mortar to make the mortar pumpable. Used as binder for mortar, putty powder or other building materials to improve spreadability and prolong open time. The water retention property of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose HPMC prevents the slurry from cracking due to rapid drying after construction and improves the strength after hardening.
1) Tile Adhesive
Standard tile adhesives fulfill all tensile bond strength requirements for C1 tile adhesives. They are optionally available with improved slip resistance or extended open time. Standard tile adhesives can be normal setting or fast setting.
Cement tile adhesives must be easy to smooth. They must provide long embedment times, high slip resistance and adequate bond strength. These properties may be affected by HPMC. Adhesives for blocks are used to build walls of aerated concrete blocks, gray sand bricks or standard bricks. Tile adhesives ensure excellent bonding between the substrate and the insulation board. HPMC improves the workability of tile adhesives while increasing adhesion and sag resistance.
-Better workability:Ensures lubricity and plasticity of the plaster and easier and faster application of the mortar.
-Good water retention:Extended open time allows for more efficient tile laying.
-Improved adhesion and anti-slip properties:Especially suitable for thick tiles.
2)Dry mortar
Dry mortar is a mixture of mineral binders, aggregates and additives. Depending on the process, dry mortars are available in both hand and machine types. They are used for priming, insulation, renovation and decoration. Dry mortars based on cement or cement, slaked lime are used for interior and exterior work. Machine-applied plasters are mixed in plastering machines that work continuously or discontinuously. These plastering machines are capable of covering large areas of walls and ceilings with efficient technology.
-Simple dry mixing formula due to cold water solubility: clumping can be easily avoided, ideal for thick tiles.
-Good water retention: prevents the loss of liquids into the substrate and maintains the right water content in the mixture, thus guaranteeing a longer setting time of the concrete.
3) Self-leveling
Self-leveling flooring composites are used to smooth and level a variety of substrates, and can be used as an underlayment for tiles, carpets, and so on. To avoid settling and maintain flow, a low viscosity HPMC grade is used.
-To prevent water seepage and material settling, use low viscosity HPMC grades.
Low viscosity HPMC has no effect on slurry flow.
At the same time, its water retention properties improve the surface finish.
4) Crack fillers

5)Gypsum-based mortar
Gypsum is a well-established material for interior construction. It has good workability and its setting time can be adjusted to suit each application. Gypsum building materials create a comfortable living atmosphere due to their good moisture balance. In addition, gypsum has excellent fire resistance. However, it is not waterproof and can therefore only be used indoors.
The combination of gypsum and slaked lime is very common in plaster formulations.
-Increased water requirement: increased opening time, larger spraying area, more economical formulations.
-Easier spreading due to increased consistency and improved sag resistance.
6) Wall Putty / Putty Layer
-Water retention:Maximizes the water content in the mud.
-Anti-sagging:Avoids wrinkling when laying thicker coats.
-Increase mortar yield:Depending on the weight of the dry mixture and proper formulation, HPMC can increase the mortar volume.
7) Exterior insulation system (EIFS)
Cementitious thin-layer adhesives are used for bonding ceramic tiles, aerated concrete or limestone brick walls and installing external insulation systems (EIFS). Easy and efficient construction, durability, improved adhesion.
-Good wetting ability on EPS boards and substrates.
Reduces air entry and water absorption.

Widely used as binder in the manufacture of ceramic products.
3. Coating industry: As a thickener in coating industry.
Used as thickener, dispersant, stabilizer in coating industry, with good compatibility in water or organic solvents. As paint stripper.
4、Ink Printing.
As thickener, dispersant, stabilizer in ink industry, with good compatibility in water or organic solvents.
5.Plastics.
Used as mold release agent, softener, lubricant, etc.
6. Polyvinyl chloride.
Used as dispersant in the production of polyvinyl chloride, it is the main auxiliary in the preparation of polyvinyl chloride by suspension polymerization method.
Packing.
HPMC products are packed in three-layer paper bags lined with polyethylene bags, net weight 25kg per bag.
Storage: HPMC products should be stored in cool and dry warehouse.
